Full details on available credit hours, including qualifying sessions and amounts, will be listed within each session description.
 
Please note: There is a $100 administrative fee for CPE credits. CLE and CEP/ECA continuing education credits are provided at no additional cost.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits in various states will be available for session attendance.
 

Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or Equity Compensation Associate (ECA)

Certified Equity Professionals (CEPs) and Equity Compensation Associates (ECAs) may earn the following credits for attendance:
  • Max 12 credits for the NASPP Conference
  • Max 6 credits for the Equity Compensation Bootcamp
  • Max 6 credits for the Proxy Disclosure Conference
  • Max 3.5 credits for the Executive Compensation Essentials Bootcamp
You must keep your own records of attendance, including the specific sessions attended, so you can report this information to the CEP Institute when required.

 

Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) will be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit.
 
Maximum Credit

CPAs can earn a maximum of 14 CPE credits for attending the NASPP Conference and a maximum of 7 CPE credits for attending the Equity Compensation Bootcamp. The maximum amount of CPE that can be earned for each conference session is noted in the session descriptions in the online conference agenda. Please refer to this information when deciding which sessions to attend.

Fields of Study

The fields of study included in the program are Accounting, Business Law, Communications and Marketing, Information Technology, Management Services, Personal Development, Personnel/Human Resources, Specialized Knowledge, and Taxes.

Instructional Method, Program Knowledge Levels, Pre-Requisites, and Advance Preparation

The instructional method for both the NASPP Conference and the Equity Compensation Bootcamp is group-live. Program levels for NASPP Conference sessions are indicated in each session description, with the following designations:

  • Foundational: Sessions designated as Foundational correspond to NASBA’s Basic knowledge level. These sessions have no prerequisites and are designed for individuals new to the topic or those with limited experience.

  • Intermediate: Intermediate sessions build upon topics discussed in the basic program and are suited for individuals with three to five years’ experience in the field or commensurate education.

  • Advanced: Advanced sessions are most useful for individuals with more than five years’ experience or commensurate education in the designated topic. These sessions focus on the development of in-depth or specialized knowledge.

The program level for the Equity Compensation Bootcamp is Foundational.

No advance preparation is required for any NASPP Conference sessions or the Equity Compensation Bootcamp.

Add-On Registration Required
There is a $100 administrative fee for CPE credits. This fee covers costs the NASPP incurs for recordkeeping procedures required by NASBA.
 
NASBA Statement
The National Association of Stock Plan Professionals is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
